We met almost thirty years ago, and since then food and hospitality have been part of our lives.
After many years in travel, we chose to slow down and look for a place to call home. We found it here, facing Lake Corbara, wrapped in silence and colour.
That’s how Podere Le Marene was born: from the wish to create an intimate, authentic refuge welcoming guests like friends, with care and simplicity. We restored an 1800s farmhouse and gave it back its soul, light and beauty.

Good to know before you come
Does each room have its own character?
Yes. Some face the lake, others the vineyards. All are carefully curated, with natural materials, essential décor and no televisions.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, we’re pet-friendly.
What’s included in the stay?
Homemade breakfast with local products is always included. On request, we can provide half-board or full-board. Every meal is cooked by us, with care.
Is the property accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Yes. Our rooms can host guests with reduced mobility and the whole building is served by a lift. If you have specific needs, write to us: we want every guest to truly feel at home.
Do I need a car?
Not necessarily. We offer a free transfer to and from Orvieto station so you can enjoy the experience without a car.
